But First... My Approach to Money

Years of
Experience
1

I believe in being of service to my fellow humans regardless of their financial circumstances. In fact, I don’t even consider money as something real. I believe it is a totally made up human construct.

For this reason, I approach money a bit differently than most other coaches. I don’t charge, bill, or accept payments for my services. This doesn’t mean that I have no need for money. I do require money to live in the world and sustain my business.

Instead of charging, I request money from my clients so that I can continue to serve others. You may give more or less than the amount requested. I agree to receive any amount with generosity and gratitude. It will meet my needs for financial well-being and serving life. This will allow me to continue to give sessions to other clients. I also agree to give five percent of any money received to a worthy cause.

Please know I will not accept a single cent given out of the energy of obligation or requirement. I wish for my clients to give from the energy of joy and contribution. This is also a way to pay it forward.

If you feel you receive value from me, you can give me money so I can create value for more clients. Just as one can become a patron of the arts, you can become a patron of sharing self love. If money is given with the delight of a child feeding a duck, we are on the right track.

Self Love Coaching Agreements:

We will treat each session as sacred. This means we will prepare through reflection and slowing down before and after each session. We will honor and respect our time together. We will approach each session with reverence, humility, and appreciation. We will commit to bring forth the deepest level of presence available to us in each moment.

We will be honest with ourselves and each other. We will create a safe space that fosters vulnerability and we will choose to be open with each other.

We will cultivate grace for ourselves and others. We will create an atmosphere of forgiveness and understanding. We will show up humble. We will come to the coaching container with a beginner’s mind. We will be open to learning more deeply what we believe we already know. We will agree to let go of our egos and expectations of how coaching should progress.

We will commit to self love though honoring our scheduled time together. We will prioritize our coaching conversations over other activities. We will agree to be ready and on time. On time means that if the session begins at 1pm, we’re both there when the clock reads 1:00. 1:01 is considered late. It is an act of self love to invest in the full time we have allotted for our growth.
